This is TE0324 prototyping carrier board providing extensive connectivity between Trenz TE0320 series FPGA System On Chip construct and Digilent Inc PMOD series modules. It allow to connect up to 24 single line (6 pin) or 12 dual line (12 pin) modules, as well as it allow to connect 2 DUO quad line (24 pin) ones. All pins are routed directly to Spartan 3ADSP FPGA allowing any Digilent Inc module to be applied at any preferred socket location. External modules 3.3v supply provided from Trenz TE0320 board arranged with up-to 3A total 3.3v power DC-DC regulator.

Default Trenz validation software may be used either with 3.3v FTDI-USB UART dedicated cable connected to TRACE port of TE0324 board:

or standard Digilent Inc PmodUSBUART module connected to XS8 socket. pmUSBUART2 (from Thoseboards) with full signals set (including DCD, RI, DTR and DSR) is also possible to use for validation software connectivity.

Special placement for Digilent Inc PMOD DUO as well as for RADIOIF interfaces marked with respective names on the board top side. The board doesn't accept USB power from it's miniUSB bypass connector due to a low current limitations of the USB interface, instead 5mm standard power jack as well as 2 wire screwable connectors provided. Incoming power supply range: 4.0 - 7.0 V reserved for Trenz TE0320 boards family must be respected. The board could be used for non-solder based embedded system assembly. Perfect arrangement for amateur/education purposes.
